Welcome to the third edition of the Gnarathon Vienna! A fun, laid back and inclusive event created by skaters, for skaters, with an aim at uniting the Vienna skate scene and connecting it with the international skateboard community. Following past years’ successes and thanks to Vans’ loyal support, the Gnarathon will again be 3 days long, with a full program of exhibitions, discussions, videos, concerts… and gnarly skate sessions!
On Friday, June 6th, we kick off the Gnarathon 2025 with a FLINTA* skate session and a big welcome party. At 13:00 we’ll start with a skate session and workshop exclusively for FLINTA* people (Female, Lesbian, Inter-, Nonbinary, Trans and Agender) for them to network and be able to take part in the whole event in a strengthened community. The workshop will be held by Ruby Mateja from Goodpush and we are working on one of the most discussed topics: safer spaces for FLINTA* people. This will all take place at the Wäringer Park Skatepark. 13:00 FLINTA*-Session and Workshop at Währinger Park |
At 18:00 we open the doors for everyone at Oben (Urban-Loritz-Platz 2a on the rooftop). There will be an exhibition showing the outcome of the Workshop, followed by a panel discussion at 19:00 focusing on Safer Spaces and FLINTA*-only sessions. At 20:30 we’ll have video premieres of FLINTA*-Skatevideos followed by a music act and DJ. 18:00 Meet-Up Oben
